This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Pre-Paid wireless broadband?

    Anyone here have pre-paid broadband wireless? I know its relatively new but companies like virgin mobile are offering it. I intend to use my system at home (on a home network) more then out so I dont want to spend $60 a month, plus a contract. At the same time though, I do intend to travel with it sometimes and would like to have wireless 3G when I do. Even if you dont have the service but know somneone who does or have any opinions on it, please feel free to share, Thanks!
