    Hello

I was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem.

I'm looking for a powerful wireless router to stretch across my block from my office to my home. Any suggestions for a router or how to do it myself easily.

    Thank You.
    Dan

Get any router with removable antennas and get some highly directional ones.

If so that's gonna be more than a router more like a radio antenna

You can put the router on the top of the tower to minimize the transmission line losses :D :D :D

I only need the signal to travel a distance of about 1000 ft.

I have an office on the corner of my block and on that same block on the other end is my home.

300m is not a neglectable distance on the 2.4/5GHz frequency band, you will need a very directional antenna and a booster for sure. Go to Radioshack and see what they suggest in terms of antenna and booster.

Yeah, you'll need a pretty decent antennae for this job. Head to radioshack or Frys and have them point you to the wifi antennaes
