I have wireless in my house and unless my laptop is in the same room as my router the wireless strength is very poor. This is just a recent problem that in the past my laptop would work great everywhere in my house. When i was messing around with the airport card i accidentally riped out the little cord that connects into the L shaped metal piece. I stuck it back in but should there be some wire exposed from the middle of the wire to touch the inside of the L shaped connector? Right now I just stuck back into the hole and im not sure if this is causing my problem or not. Any help would be great.
    Thank You

Sounds like an antenna lead got pulled. If this is the case it needs to be connected properly for every thing to work. On these micro connector it looks just like a straight pin, very small.
