This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Possible bad nic in my G1 ?

    when i set the tcp/ip to automatically gather the ip. It can never do it. But when i use the usb plug for my modem it works.

    Check to see if you have any drivers that need upgrading. I had the same problem on one of mine. Once the drivers were updated everything worked fine.

    If you connecting wired, try a different cat5 cable.
