    I was wondering more specifically how the "Ovation MC 950 USB Modem" and the "Merlin X950D PCI Express Card" which both claim to have a 7.2 MBps data rates...

    would compare in performance in
    1.) speed to a regular high speed internet @ ~5Mbps.
    2.) Wireless Strength/signal lock on.
    3.) stability of connection - IE: signal loss if traveling ~30 miles/hr or 50-60 km/hr
