Ive got a real tricky situation here, hopefully someone out there knows what to do.

Heres my situation, let me know if you need any other information:
My isp is some wired Chinese network. An ethernet line comes straight into the apartment through the door.
I have to have a special program installed to log into the internet. It is Dr.com User Authority Program (v3.482) (extremely stupid and annoying)
I have a Dlink DI-604 wired router, to share internet with my roomate.
Now here is where it gets trickier. There is only 1 username and password for me and my roomate to log into the internet. When the guy came to set everyhting up, on each of our computers he added a Microsoft Loopback Adapter to each of our computers network connections. So basically, how is seems to work is (FROM MY OBSERVATION), the first person that logs in... logs in and uses the program to do it. But if the next person just turns on their computer, their computer will be connected until the first person shuts down their compter or logs out.

Now i already have a static IP set up from when the installation guy, and ive followed all the instructions on www.portforward.com. But the test shows that its still not going through. Im guessing its because of this loopback adapter crap. I am usually the first one to connect to the internet, as my computer is usually always on.

I cant think of any other info right now that might be useful. So let me know.
Im having issues with Gizmo Project internet phone (my calls just dont go through anymore, but work fine when i connect to the internet at other places) , and Bittorrent (yes, i use it legitimately)

    Thanks

I block most all IP's coming out of china. My network was be pounded 24/7 by hackers trying to break in to my servers. NOT any more.

See of the phone will work prior to connecting to your pc's. Some ISP block/control ports to prevent certain activity. If it does. Go to https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2
This will let you know what ports are being blocked. If you need a further scans use a program like PortScanner by http://www.networkactiv.com/ This way you can scan you self and see what the PC is seeing.

Those sites will scan your IP address for ports open/closed/stealth. So if you know a port is suppose to be open you can verify whether it is or not.

Ah, ok, well i already know which ports need to be open, and i know that they arent cause the programs arent working.

What i need to know is HOW do i open them with the current configuration i have to connect to the net.

On the first site listed, i ran the test for one of the ports i need, it came up as Stealth. If that helps.

Stelth means it's open but not responding to ping. Which is good for security.

You now need to download the Network Activity scanner and set the scan in the IP range for the other ones. If it's open and it's not working, recheck your port forward settings. UDP and TCP are different so make sure those are correct. Also the rules are processed top to bottom. So if it's on the bottom something else may be killing it. Try rebooting the router and scan again. If that does not work you ISP can block it. Then you will need to see if You ISP is blocking.

Will your ISP let you have more than one account? If not maybe consider setting up one computer as a gateway/proxy.

    Stan,
Thanks for the link, i opened up the UPnP but i dont really understand what its suppost to do. When i run the port test it still shows that the port i need is closed.

    StupidG,
We can only have one account, it is such a stupid system that they have set up here for multiple users. I dont think changing the configuration from what the installation guy set up is a very good idea, cause i dont think ill ever get it back the way it is now if i mess anything up. Is there no other way?
