So before I downloaded my test version of NOD32 2.5, there were a number of pop-ups I could get that I want.

(e.g. a PM on a site opening in a separate window.)

I also am not able to download a wmv file (won't let me "save target as" at this site: Sumo Deadlifts scroll down for the wmv file.)

I could download it on my old laptop with Win98SE & Norton Internet Security but not on my new ASUS z70va with NOD32 and XP.

I could get the pop-ups I wanted without the NOD32...so I assume that is what is blocking everything.

I can't find any instructions for allowing pop-ups and download from "permitted sites." I have just started with NOD32... anyone have a clue....?

Well, my tech person helped me and the problem is solved. I jst had to turn on the pop-up blockers and then adjust the settings to permit the sites I wanted to allow pop-ups in and then do the same through Internet options on the tool bar in IE and adjust the security settings... :D

Just to let you know... with Norton Internet Security I think you can just hold down the control key when you open the sight and it will alow popups on that page... I know it works on some versions but I'm not sure on the new ones try it and see. If you click on a link just hold down the control key as you click.
