    Dear Friends..
    I Have Bought A Vostro 1500 Laptop (with 3945 Abg/ Wi Fi..i Guess It Is Something U Would Like To Know) And I Want To Connect It With My Old Desktop Using WifI (which Doesnt Have Wifi)..please Guide Me How I Can Do That With Minimum Expenses & With A Bit Of Security( So That No One Else Cant Get Hold On My Data).
    What All I Need To Know? What Card Etc..DO I Need To Put In My Desktop For This..

    You best bet would be to use a wireless router. Connect the desktop pc via wired, and NB by wireless. About the same amount of $$$, and you now have the hardware (router) share your internet connection with.

    There is a guide on this site for basic networks setups. Suggest that you do some home work. It's not rocket since. jJust a matter of purchasing a router, connect the desktop to 1 lan port, the ISP to WAN (internet), once you do the initial setup and have it working. The connect the nb via wired then setup the WPA(2) Personal AES security. Then connect via wireless to complete the setup.
