    Hi,
Hope someone can offer me some advice. I have 2 laptops both with wireless Bluetooth built in. Both laptops are talking and sharing files ok(via Bluetooth). I have a cable modem connected to the host laptop and want to know if its possible to send the internet connection to my second laptop via the built in Bluetooths. I should also add that the second laptop(not the host) has vista installed on it and the host laptop has xpÂ….any advice telling me if this is possible or how to set it up would be appreciated.

you cannot send an internet connection as far as i am aware of. the only way to get internet would be to set up a wireless network.

This might work if you set up Internet Connection Sharing on the host laptop and set up the Bluetooth on the host to allow other computers to access the internet through this computer. Then try to connect with the other laptop.

I haven't actually tried this so you may have to experiment with the settings.

If this doesn't work you could try a wireless router. Connect the router to the cable modem and you can use both laptops wirelessly (assuming, of course, that both laptops have wireless network cards). If you must use Bluetooth, there are Bluetooth routers available.
