I tried searching but cannot find 1202 drivers anywhere. I used to use the Intel 6300, but bought a system that included the Bigfoot 1202 and swapped it for an Intel AC 7260. Since I use only an N600 router at the moment (although my next router purchase will be an AC1900 I'm sure and most likely within a year or two, before I replace my laptop), the only difference I notice between the 6300 and 7260 is the Bluetooth (which I haven't started using yet but intend to buy a mouse). I've heard that Bigfoot is supposed to have lower latency so I'm thinking of swapping it out again to test drive for a bit to see if I notice any difference. The only driver I have for it is a disc for my Sager NP9150 that reads driver version 6.1.XXXX (don't remember the numbers off of top of my head) but that looks like a Win 7 driver to me and I'm on 8.1.

Does anyone know where I can find the 1202 drivers for download? Thanks!

Qualcomm shut down killergaming.com where drivers were previously found to save money.

They closed their forum to save moey and moved to Twitter.

Starting with release v2 1.1.38.1281 the Killer driver is a generic Atheros driver.

No more Killer Driver Development Team.

So if you need just a driver for your Killer 1202 use the newest Qualcomm Atheros v10.0.0.285
    WLan

If you want a driver with the Killer Network Manager use this link.
Driver Downloads | Qualcomm Atheros, Inc.

I'm not sure if you can help me, I recently updated windows to 8.1 update 1 and I'm having a lot of trouble with my Killer Wireless N 1202 card. It was going from connected to limited connectivity but now it has an intermittent connection.

I used the killer removal tool, but that didn't get rid of a version of the suite (I had two for some reason) so I used a uninstall, IO bit to completely delete it from the registry.

upon installing the new driver from the website windows was reporting in Device Manager that "windows has failed to load the driver" for the card, after uninstalling and scanning for hardware changes it worked perfectly (for a while) and now I have my problems.

Is there any suggestions you have? is there a tried and tested driver, driver/suite that I can download and revert to??

It's been bugging me for ages and I just can't fix it!

any help would be greatly appreciated!

I installed the bluetooth version of the driver, but I still get erratic connection, it will be fine for maybe 30 mins then I just get a complete halt for about 30 secs to 1 minute, I checked the process manager and there is 0 activity, sometimes I get limited connectivity, but as soon as I see movement in the process manager the internet connection returns.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this?

    thanks

Try the WiFi on 5ghz so not to interfere with Bluetooth signal if you are on 2.4ghz

Probably the #1 complaint about Bluetooth is dropped signals.

The new 4.1 Bluetooth specification is supposed to address this

Name your 2.4GHz and 5Ghz networks differently (SSID) and set 5GHz higher on in Windows queue (when you manage networks you have a list of them and Windows attempts to connect in that order).

I don;t think Atheros has band preference in driver settings (correct me if I'm wrong here)

I tried this at the weekend but my router doesn't seem to give me an option to do this, its a crappy sky one.

I have noticed when using a wireless dongle the reception is so much better, so I'm guessing its a driver issue I have.
