For some reason some pages just do not load. To get them to load I have to refresh about 15 times, and then they will finally load.

IF I am connected via the Ethernet cable, this does not happen, only on wireless.

This happens in both IE and FF. Wide range of websites, nothing specific and they range, sometimes they work and sometimes I have to refresh a lot to get them to work.

It's baffling me, anyone have any idea? Thanks.

    Hi.

Have you tried re-booting your router, I sometimes get this problem if the router is connected at 2 high a rate and the line quality drops, it dose not download the pages fully.

If you re-boot the router it will re-handshake at a lower more stable rate.

    It`s worth a try anyway.

    Regards

    John.

Check your IE privacy and security options.

Try lowering the MTU in the router to 1492, def is 1500. This can be done in the router advanced settings for your connection type.

what kind of connection strength do you have wirelessly... and how many Mbps...how close is your work station to your wireless router...do you have your antenna's on your wireless router in the straight verticle position...sounds like lack of a quality signal considering wired connection works fine...do a speed test with wired and wireless on a speed test server...my choice is http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

You might also try upgrading firmware/driver for your router and adapter. The last time I had this problem, though, just changing the channel helped quite a bit. Seems everyone in the neighborhood preferred Channel 6. When I changed from 6 all was well.

Lol, that's so true, channel 11 is also very popular along with channel 1. I think those are the preferred default channels for the vendors.

I still think the issue has to do with the privacy settings.
