    Goodday everyone :)

Ive got an pretty hard problem with my notebook PB LK11-BZ-125NL, Ive just configured it to my own Windows 7 and i am unnable to connect wireless, Tried to install the drivers but nothing works. Lan driver works and if i press the "F3" button i can see the picture wireless on/off but nothing really happens, As i tried to install the atheros driver the system tells me The device is not found or connected properly, Well that seems to me like no option cause I only have this laptop for 4 days :|. Opened Device managar and i can see "Networkcontroller" with a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark witch says no device software found. Tried litterly all the software on packard bell site for wireless connection but no luck at all. Heard that you can enter bios to disable or enable the wireless network card, This i tried but i did not found any possible options to do this. I've never had this before with a reinstall of my windows 7 my laptop is a 64 bit pc and my new windows is 64 bit to. Anyone knows what's going on or how to fix this problem ?

Thanks in advance for you're help guys.

Are you sure your wireless adapter is an Atheros device, you also need a driver for the LAN controller and another one for the wireless adapter.

It's possible you have an adapter other than Atheros, you could take a look at the hardware id of the device and google it, that will tell you what brand of adapter you have.

This will help you finding the hardware id: Device Manager - Finding Unknown Devices - Windows 7 Forums. Wireless adapters with no drivers tend to appear in the unknown device tab rather than network adapter, but it could show up in either depending on your hardware.

One last question, did you ake sure you got the drivers for 64-bit windows, 32-bit drivers won't work. If you have problems finding what adapter you have, you can always post the hardware id here and i'll try to find it as well as the drivers for it.

Hmm, sorry for not posting sooner, been meditating on this and im still a bit at a loss. I have a feeling it might be a conflict from the number of drivers you tried to install. You could try forcing the driver installation with the 64-bit inf file or do a run of driver sweeper in safe mode to remove any wireless adapter drivers then try reinstalling again.

Might be a physical switch somewhere on the laptop for the wireless too. I remember having problems on a friends M50 and the switch being off made it harder to install the drivers.
