    What´s up guys..

    I´m writing from Brazil and got a question.

    What´s more effective on receiving a Wireless internet signal? a PCI card or a USB receiver???

    depends on the antenna and chipset and driver software.

    hardware interface really doesn't matter much.

    You mean the antenna of the wireless router? Or the antenna of the receptor?

    And what kind of chipsets and drivers software are the best?

    PCI cards are wont make your notebook clumsy or eat a USB port. In other words, in term of portability, an internal wireless card is much better than an external (USB) one. Now, I do not know much about performance... I guess you could plug a huge USB performance receiver that might be as big as the notebook, if that is what you really need. If you don't need such power, then stick to an internal Wireless card.

    Sorry but in my case I was talking about a desktop!
