Those look right for drag and drop. Your wired will be higher if using FTP, ~10Mb/s. This is only true with a 100BaseT not gige.

I tried it using 1 file ~0.5 Gig

    Wireless: 18 Mbits/s (128 bit encryption) Why can't I get 54 Mbits/s?????
    Wireless: 20 Mbits/s (64 bit)
    Wired: 70 Mbits/s

My biggest question is why is there such a different in my internet connection:
    Wireless (64 bit)

    Wired

This is a huge difference. My sister-in-law has a dv6324us with a broadcom 802.11b/g WLAN as compared to my Intel(R) pro wireless. She can sometime get 10+Mbits/s on her laptop and I can only max a 6 Mbits/s?

    Thoughts?

Well problem solved. I went to http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks and did there recommendations (Changing RWIN to 105,000) then I was able to get a speed as fast as the wired connection.
