    Is there any way to get this to turn off so it is not always on? I tried holding it down but that made something mess up and I had to redo my network.

    holding it down makes it automatically config your network again, which of course messed it up). Its just a little light, its no big deal. There is no way to turn it off, but you can put something over it to cover the little light.

    It's not that bad, I was just simply curious because I most all I have seen have been off. I suppose those just didn't have secure easy setup.
