I just recently bought the D-Link Rangebooster Draft-N router. I set my network up and used my laptop with wireless g card for a few days fine.

Well today I bought the matching notebook D-Link draft-n card and set it up. It connects to the router fine and works great, but Windows says that it is connected at 54mbps, while it should be faster.

Anybody know how I can fix this?

    -Thanks.

Have you set the router to use 802.11n? Chances are it is set to use only 802.11a/b/g by default.

I changed the router signal output to "802.11ng only", but then it wouldn't show up at all when I scanned for wireless networks.

And no, there are no other wireless devices using it's connection.
