    hello everyone,

my internet is super slow now. i was playing with the router settings trying to enable the PPPOE hoping i'll be able to allow many people to connect at the same time. Please note that the router is hooked to another access point and not to a phone line.

it didn't work, so I tried to put back everything the way it was. I did disable the dhcp, i'm not sure what the other settings were (if any PPPEO settings were placed or not) , but anyways I dont think there is anything that should be set beside disabling the dhcp, right?

anyhow, now the internet conection is VERY slow. is it just a coencidence? or did I actually screw things up?

See to it that you did not limit bandwidth usage with any QoS settings and also, re-enable DHCP...it will eliminate headaches.

Why don't you just reset the router and start from zero, may be you get it working as before.

ditto monkeyman...and save a .bin file from your router...it's basically a system restore...or ghost restore of your settings...all you have to do in case of another failure is to reload the .bin file.
