    Is there an easy way to connect

    Laptop A <------> Laptop B

    To each other (creating network) Without being connected to internet, or having any device to be plugged in? :)

    Yes, a crossover network cable. Plug one end into each computer, then manually set the IP addresses of the computers. Will function as a normal network, though it will be a small one :)

    if you dont have a cross over cable you can get a usb to usb cable that some companies sell...but this only is to transfer files. Else you can get a cheap switch and 2 regular patch cables.

    make sure it is labeled as a CROSSOVER cable. A typical network cable will not work...it is a special cable

    Or you could set up a wireless ad-hoc connection, given the fact that recent laptops equipped with wireless adapters.
