My grandparents recently bought me a wireless keyboard and mouse for my new laptop. My laptop has bluetooth capibilities but I was wondering do I still have to connect the the receiver for the wireless keyboard to my laptop. I was under the impression that bluetooth allowed me to connect wireless devices without the need for the logitech receiver thing. Do I need to buy a bluetooth compatible keyboard and mouse or will the wireless one I have work fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated for I am greatly confused.

Bluetooth only allows you to pair bluetooth wireless devices. If your mouse/keyboard set uses RF wireless or some other protocol you'll have to use the adapter that came with it.
