IS the WAN that is starting to become integrated something to look for on a regual use laptop or is it too expensive or annoying or anything? I honestly know nothing and would like to be filled in on anything that anyone knows about it please.

WAN is just PC cards put into notebooks, and are from carriers such as Verizon and Cingular. They offer wireless internet over the Cellular air waves using technology such as vcast for Verizon. Plans start at 60 dollars a month, and are usually impracticle due to the price.

Alright, thank you, I was just wondering because I saw that it is integrated in newer Sony and HP laptops so it made me wonder and it sounds cool but as you said is impratical at that price
