I installed Norton Internet Security 2008. Upon reboot, the wireless and LAN was somehow disabled. I spent some time with Norton's tech support, such as it is, and they gave up after I uninstalled Norton and the problem persisted, and said it wasn't their problem.

I tried reinstalling the drivers for the wireless LAN, the LAN, and the ThinkVantage Access Connection. Well, at least it now will let me turn the "Radio" on and off with the ThinkVantage Access software, but it doesn't "see" any wireless routers, nor does the LAN work. Nuts!

I've come to the end of myself. Your recommendations?

Please post the error messages you are getting while attempting to connect to the WLAN/LAN.

Is there a hardware switch on your PC that turns on/off the wireless?
