Hey guys, my friends bought a WRT54G2 router that we installed on their desktop, using their existing Motorola 2210 DSL modem. CD setup didn't work, couldn't find internet connection so (I'm very rusty at this) I went into the router and changed the address (to 192.168.5.1)so it wouldn't conflict w/the DSL modem. After ip renew/release, internet can be accessed by desktop.

However their hp laptop can't connect wirelessly. In network connections (XP SP3), Local Area Connection 2 says 'Network cable unplugged' and when I run ipconfig/all, it says 'Media Disconnected'. I just can't remember anymore what I need to do now...

Any ideas would be most welcome so they we can get their wireless working.

    Thanks!

EDIT: It was in the HP's wireless settings after all though it happened so fast, I can't remember exactly what I did but it's working...
