hello all, I have recently had problems with eset (not "initializating web access protection"), and after doing a bit of googling, a supposed cure was running a manual uninstall program. I did this (after a warning that my laptop might not be able to connect to the net due to resetting settings) and yea...I can't connect to the net..
What do I need to do to restore internet access?
I have uninstalled/reinstalled my WLAN adapter drivers, and it is connected to my network, but I don't have net access.....

EDIT: fixed it.. don't ask me how, just general playing around..

My friend had this problem at one point too, and he fixed it with system restore. Is that what you did?
