I just bought a Dell TrueMobile 1490 Mini PCI Express card and installed it into my Asus S96J. I have tried the drivers on both Dell and Compaq's website. The chip in there is a Broadcom BCM4311KFBG. I tried to install the program from dell, but it says no compatible hardware found. The compaq package just installs the Broadcom Utility. I tried going into "Add Hardware" and "Have Disk" but nothing gets recongnized. What should I do?

i wouldn't be surprised if either the dell card or the asus m/b has the other component blacklisted

I'd get my money back if I were you. Any dell software (that I've dealt with) won't work if it doesn't recognize a dell bios.
