hey guys, I got HP Pavillion 9205ca laptop and recently I downgraded from Vista to XP (thank god for that) and i was on wireless without a problem. But today I got cable internet installed for a steady connection and turns out I don't have driver installed for network card. under device manager I got "Other PCI Bridge device" as not installed other device. can someone point me in the right direction with the driver, cuz I can't find one anywahere.
A little update, I researched that my chipset is nvidia GeForce 6150 nfoce 430 so I went ahead and downloaded the drivers from nvidia and now in device manager it's not as unknows device anymore now it says Nvidia nForce Networking Controller but still it doesn't work. My internet works without a problem, checked on other laptop and moded seems to have driver installed but it doesn't work, it says Network cableunplugged al the time.

If you can't find XP drivers for your laptop NIC, you are out of luck. I would move back to Vista. IMHO, Vista runs better than XP. Unless you have some reason that you absolutely must run XP, give Vista a chance.
No driver for network card help..
