Today I bought an Asus WL-520GC router to replace a Linksys that failed. I plugged it in and set it up, having it wired to my main desktop and using the wireless for a laptop and a secondary desktop. Now, all my devices get internet access, but everything loads really slowly - even on the wired desktop. Anybody have any ideas? Windows says the connection speed is 100Mbps, but it takes 10 minutes to load a 3 minute Youtube video, and just loading NBR takes some waiting time.

    Any ideas/suggestions?

Are you on DSL or cable? It might be worthwhile to call your ISP and see what's going on - there might be something in their system that's looking for the old router MAC, causing this odd problem.

I'm on cable - I'll call them up now.

Edit: Well, while on hold for tech support I did a lot of restarting and fooling around with settings. I don't know what I did, but I have my internet back! Thread can be closed.
