    New computer, existing DSL

    I'm about to set up a brandnew Vista laptop to replace my existing XP laptop. I have a Qwest 701-wg DSL modem, configured for wireless. What do I have to do to start using wireless DSL with the new computer?

    Just apply the new settings from your XP laptop to your vista laptop, and ta-da! wireless internet for you

    Run thru the network wizard it should take care of everything for you.

    Vista may have a diffrent interface for things and alot of the same tools and options are in diffrent locations but its mostly the same at its heart, and it does alot of stuff for you when it comes to drivers and networks and things.

    Vista is a step up over xp in networking aswell so you may find yourself with a better connection.

    Wow, where did you get that great cat signature line?
