I have a new Dell 1520 and an old D-link 614+ wireless router. The computer "sees" my home network and indicates a strong signal. However, it can't connect to the network. Another computer in the house connects fine. I have tried removing all the security (which the Dell also "sees"), but still no connection. Any ideas?

    Thanks, John

    I'll check that.

Also, while looking around I saw in the 1520 review here that Bluetooth Collaboration apparently caused issues with the network card. It mentioned turning it off in Advanced Settings somewhere. I do have Bluetooth capability on the notebook. Does anybody know where I would look for that to give it a try as well?

No error messages. Just can't connect. Tried turning off firewall on laptop and that didn't help either. I know the router is older, so I'm thinking of picking up a newer one and seeing if that works.
