    It's not a simultaneous dual band unit so it can't compete with WNDR3700 nor E4200 more like E2000 that is in its way.
    Supposedly there is a simultaneous dual band version in the works at TP-LINK. We'll see how it turns out especially that the range and throughput have to be on pair with Netgear and Linksys which is not gonna be easy.

    I totally agree with You, yet even if the range and throughput will be lower, I'm sure that TP-Link will be very competitive price-wise.

    Yea- unless it turns out to be a lemon I'll probably end up recommending it in future- I'm looking at it for now.
    TP-Link has a great quality and stability for the price.
