I'm currently experiencing problems where, I've netwoked my new HP DV5-1009 Laptop wirelessly to a D-Link Modem Router DSL-G604T which is also cable connected to my Desk-top PC.

Heres the deal: Both PC's can access the internet, the laptop can view and access shared folders on the desk-top, but the desk-top pc can only view and access the wireless laptop's shared folders when the Norton Firwall on the laptop is turned off (Windows firewall is also disabled). How do I configure Norton firewall on the laptop so that the desk-top pc can view access the shared folders on the lap-top??? frustrating...

There should be an option in Norton to allow "File and Printer Sharing"...or something similar....if u don't find it I say just get rid of Norton..it's not that good anyway...Panda Antivirus/Firewall is very good IMO...and i'm sure you'll get other recommendations. Especially under the Windows Software section of the forum.
