    Hello everyone!

My small business just moved locations, and I am currently the designated "tech guy". Our network consists of 5 pc's, 3 printers, and an external Netgear Mystora hard drive. Pretty standard stuff. I managed to get all of the pc's hooked up and running (they are are wireless) through our router. The router itself has a 4 port connection on the back, and we also have a 5 port network hub.

My problem lies in the fact that I can't get the netgear hard drive linked in to our network in order for it to be visible and usable. I've tried searching for similar issues, but I can't seem to figure out what connection goes where, since I normally only work with wireless devices.

If anyone could shed some light on the subject it would be greatly appreciated!

I would go to the manufactures web site and get the manual. If you still have trouble, post with the specific model so someone with more experience can be of some help

    That is the exact model.

I'm just unsure of where to plug it in, in order for us to access it.

Ok. The basic default setup diagram from the Netgear website is this:

Since it has a 10/100/1000 Ethernet connection, as per the specifications, I believe that you would need to use an ethernet cable to connect the ethernet port on the Stora device to one of the four ethernet LAN ports on the back of your wireless router.

Hopefully the system is plug-n-play enough that once it's plugged into an ethernet port in your network, at least one of the computers that used to recognize it will recognize it again and "see" it. If that doesn't happen, then I would follow the instructions for running the CD and installing the software needed to use the device.
