Hi guys, I am having trouble sharing files and a printer on my home network. My laptop and desktop aren't communicating (I think). I used to be able to share files and a printer not sure what happen. I have a wireless connection and receive the internet that way, but not sure what is going on, I run the network setup wiz and it says it works, on my desktop it shows my laptop in the workgroup, but says network path not found, on my laptop it shows nothing in my workgroup. I turned off both firewalls and still wont work, computer name and network name match up. I tried to ping other computer and that didnt work. I hope all this makes sense, not sure where to go from here, any help appreciated.

    1) Are all the IP addresses of your computers, printer, and wireless router in the same subnet?
    2) Are your computers in the same workgroup?

Yes, all IP addresses are on same subnet and both computers are in same workgroup.

I just put the IP addresses from each computer in the trust control tab in Nortons. I'm not sure if that was the problem or not. Everything was working then the desktop quit accessing my laptop for some reason.

Now everything is working on my laptop I can use the printer that is on my desktop and get files off my desktop, but now i'm unable to get files off of my laptop onto my desktop. So frustrating does anyone have any ideas as to what is going on?
