    Network problems help ASAP

    Well, i got home from vacation today, to find no computers wanting to connect via wireless. wired connections work, wireless = no
    i rebooted the router and they worked for a few hours, but now its doing it again (i have a 2wire at&t something or another)


    Help?!

    You on cable?
    I think you should check with your ISP. That or try to recycle your modem.

    i called, they said they don't know, reset the router xD

    and the modem/router is rather new... (im guessing you mean literally recycle?)

    EDIT: more specifically, it connects then disconnects on my laptop, and on the desktop downstairs with a wireless card, it does not connect at all.

    is the modem/router warm at all to the touch? if it over heats it will lock up.
    other solutions could be to check other networks in the area and see if there is any interference. change the channel on yours to something away from everyone elses.

    Is anything showing up in the event logs for the various computers?

    Even though the router is new, it could still be defective. If the router is the ISP's equipment, they should be able to send it a diagnostic signal remotely to get an idea of whether or not it's malfunctioning; I'd call them back up and see if they can check it that way.

    its warm, but not out of the ordinary warm.
