Simple scenario I can access everything on my PC via my laptop via my Linksys WRT54G v. 5 just fine except my wife's document folder.

From the My Network Places ,it's like this click on Michael's Documents -perfect. Click on Alice's Documents and I get this " you might not have permission to use this network resource"

    Thanks

that folder is secured with her windows logon. unless you have that, you can't access it.

Although there are two accounts (both set as adminstrator) both are accessible. There are no security measures i.e. passwords or such.

We have seperate logons, if that means both of our names are on the welcome page.

I went through hell and high water to get the network to work in the first place and I am sure I am missing something simple but I believe I'm just spent. Using XP pro btw.
