I'm trying to network our new laptop with our PC and our printer. When I enter our PC's computer name in the Folder Field of the Map Network Drive box, (I'm using //'pc computer name'/C$) I get a popup box saying that folder cannot be found.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and provide a list of steps to network these?

For starters, we need more info, including the make/model of the computers and printer involved, the OS of the two computers (including service pack), the type of network (wired or wireless), and your routing equipment.
