I have bought a Netgear DG834PN Wireless Modem Router which is capable of doing network speeds of up to 108mbps... Also in my laptop i have an Intel 4965AN wireless card in my laptop, which is supposed to go up to speeds of 270mbps, however my signal is verygood/excellent yet it only does speeds of 54mbps. I am running Vista, any ideas...

    The DG834PN is a wireless G-based router.

The 4695AGN WiFi card is able to use A, B, G, and N signals, however you need to get an N-based wireless router to get the N speeds of 270mbps.

What's happening right now is the 4695AGN card is using G since that's the fastest the router is able to output, and my guess for the reason it's not at 108mbps is because you need an Netgear adapter if you are to use the higher speeds. My guess it's a proprietary feature.
