I recently bought a router, Linksys WRT54GL. I set it up this morning using the CD it came with, and it was fairly straight forward.
On my laptop, I can see the wireless network that I setup and it shows that it's a secured connection. On my first attempt connecting it failed, so I went into my laptops Networking options, selected the Network I made and took a look at all the options I had available. I entered the SSID and the WEP code generated on my desktop into this menu and saved it, but apparently it's not enough to let me connect to my network.
Unfortunately I'm not at home and unable to give more detailed information, so I apologize if this description is a bit vague, but I'm hoping you guys can give me an idea to troubleshoot this when I return.
If all else fails, I'll probably try to undo the network on my Desktop and start over from scratch.

that guide doesn't have what I'm looking for, at least I don't believe so.
