Broadcom launches 11-nominee slate for Qualcomm board
    Aishwarya Venugopal

(Reuters) - Chipmaker Broadcom Ltd ( AVGO.O) made its first formal move toward a hostile bid to take over Qualcomm Inc ( QCOM.O) on Monday, laying out a slate of 11 nominees it wants to put on the board of the U.S. semiconductor firm.

This poses the question would Broadcom be a virtual monopoly in WLAN Chips if this Hostile takeover happens ?

From the Qualcomm Wireless Chips I have on My Notebook 11AC,TP-Link LAN/WLAN Router, and Samsung Phone, I can say they perform better than others I have used.
