I have a friend who is fairly tech savvy with most things. He has a Netgear router and we/he can't get it to allow to multiple users on his network to, for one, log onto Battle.net to play Warcraft III.

Does anyone know how to solve this or had experience with Netgears? Thanks :)

Does he/you have security set, and/or a set limit on how many people can connect to it? Should be in the router settings. By accessing that, you type 192.168.1.100 (most cases, if doesn't work try your ip address) into your browsers bar like you would do to type a internet address in.

Mmmm.. are there any other possibilities? He is pretty **** tech savvy and knows how to operate router security settings. Multiple people can connect to the network, but only one at a time can connect to Battle.net on it.

are you all using the same CDkey for battle.net? If yes, then only one person can connect judging from their site.

Back in the day when I used to play Diablo 2, I had the same problem. I believe that even though you are using a router, battle.net sees it as 1 IP which is the gateway and only allows 1 IP. That is how it worked before. Don't know about now.

That's what I was kind of wondering. If they have it where it only allows one cdkey to be online at a time, then they probably have it set to do it with IP.

Is there anybody else that you know that has a router?

I have a D-Link router at home.. my brother and I can play the same game on battle.net at the same time. Might it be Netgear.. or just a setting somewhere?

(Each person has their own cd-key in all cases).
