    Hey guys,

So i've had some problems with my Linksys and Dlink routers going old, so I went to a Netgear that had great reviews. Only problem is, my connection to it cuts out randomly, then comes back. I have a netgear WN121T adapter. My brother has the same adapter, but he has no problems. The adapter also takes forever to get an IP address. Can anyone shed some light? It's very annoying! It did it while writing this.... It never used to do this with my old D-Link router.

    Help? Thanks

    Replace the power adapter.
It is a known problem that MANY routers (especially Netgear), have too small of a power pack.

A slightly weaker connection can overload them.
