Recently, my dell desktop crashed. Before it crashed, I had installed WG311 adapter software and then the adapter so it could get wireless internet.

The instructions said to install the software FIRST and then install the adapter. Now that it crashed...do I have to take the adapter out of the PCI slot, install the software, and put it back in OR can I install the software for the adapter since it's already in there?

    TIA
