I just can't figure this one out and I need help.

I'm trying to get my ASUS G73 (with an Intel Advanced-N 6250 AGN card) to connect with my Netgear RangeMAX Next WNR834B router at N speed. When I enable WMM on my router the G73 will connect at N speed (100mbps+) to the router but when I test my network speed (by going to dslreports.com and using their tools) my download speed throttles down to 402 to 1400 kb/s. If I disable WMM on the router, my network download speed goes back up to around 13000 kb/s but the laptop connect with the route at G speed (54mbps).

    Few other details:

    1) On the Intel Advanced-N 6250 AGN card, enabling or disabling WMM makes no difference on the router to computer connection speed or the network test using dslreports.

    2) On my older dell xps 1210m, my network test is always at 13000 kb/s on dslreports whether wmm is on or off on the router. It also connects at N speed at all times.

    3) My iphone4 network test using the speed test app also throttles down when wmm is enabled.

    4) The upload test is always the same no matter if WMM is enabled or disabled....around 2700 kb/s.

    5) I'm using WPA2 encryption.

    6) I'm using the latest firmware on the router

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
