Hey guys got this recent problem and I know one of you has the answer. Was on the phone will Dell Tech support i had an unsecured WORKING network. She decided to make it secured and safer being nice but ever since she put an encryption in and locked it i now get Limited connectivity (which is really none) but it is connected to the wireless network. I tried taking it off the encryption and installing netgear again but no prevail. THey also had me reformat my hardrive due to another issue and said that will fix it. But no....this was after they tried to make me pay for tech support on their error with remote assistance. I am stealing my neighbors wirless connection atm, So it is working on the laptop....Any Ideas? WGR614 v6 router Netgear that was working untill she played around with the security issue. Thanks

well... you should try to "reset" your router before stealing your neighbour's wifi... get off it you! :p

find the reset button button behind the router, it is alongside all the cables. there should be a hole, poke it with a paperclip.

I thought maybe it was because that lady used a security feature and netgear states that when secured their can be preformance issues but i dunno xbox360 still runs off it fine. i cant find the hole....and my computer doesnt recognize the router at all actuallyy it says Internet gateway device then all the info is Unavailable but when i use my neighbors and look at the network it says his router and linxyus information...
