My sisters machine (Toshiba M45) is constantly having problems. I've searched on here and tried everything. Drivers to setting to firmware. I just want to replace it with an Atheros card if possible. Anybody know of an Atheros card that fits and works with these machines? I have one in my Asus and I love it. Would like to put the same type in hers.

As long as you have drives and you match the slot it will work. The only hang up may be if the antenna(s) are long enough to connect, if at a different location.

Don't cross post? Come on. Its a wireless problem with a Toshiba product. I'd like Toshiba people to chime in and wasn't sure if they would be cruising around the wireless portion of this forum unless they too are having problems. Happy Holidays!

Turns out loose Main ant. connector. All is well now.
