    need some help

    hey ... i have a SIEMENS speedstream 6520 wireless router..

    now the hting is that i have arnd 10 ppl on my network... but theres this one user connected via ethernet .. when he uses any p2p .. the speed for the rest of the users dies..

    on average he would be getting 50 .. and the rest of us arnd 3 .... could anyone suggest a solution??

    Yep that is a good plan. However if they need internet access not sure on that router specifically but you might be able to block the P2P ports . Check out the Adminstration capabilites of the Router ;)

    May also be able to log activity - show it to them and suggest if this continues to happen - they will have to be killed <haha> or a punihsment of your choice ....

    well.. i dont want to kick that person off the network... but instead want everyone to get equal speeds..

    That is what I would do. You can also limit his downloads speeds if you have access to his puter. Some routers also set priority...I don't remember which ones, you would have to check out your router.
