    hello everyone

    i just bought a new laptop a Hp Pavilion DV4269EA which is wireless enabled.

    and i have a Hp Pavilion desktop pc which also has a wireless network card, both comp and laptop running on win xp home.

    the internet is being shared at the moment via belkin 54g wireless router

    i wanted to know if its possible to create a network betweek the two so that i can share files and also i want the laptop to be the admin.

    any help will be appritiated

    You just need to get them in the same workgroup and share the proper folders. None of the machines has to be an admin.

    Yes, you can do this also by going into the wireless properties, and then hit "Set up a home or small office network". Maybe if you want check my guide out to get more details.
