Hi guys, I'm not really familiar with this. My parents moved to a place where they can't get DSL or cable internet, and their only options are dial-up (HAHHAHA), satellite, or http://www.surfnetc.com/mp_wireless.asp

Anyway, my dad is trying to find out what is the best service of the options to get. It's my understanding that the higher frequency is going to have less interference. Also, what are the standard speed ratings for dsl and cable?

He doesnt do any crazy downloading, but it has to be around the speed of DSL and cable.

    thanks

EDIT: I think a speed between 1-3mbps will be sufficient for him. What is the difference between the frequencies?

did you even read my post? I have to choose something other than dsl or cable and gave a couple options. I just wondered how those options compare to cable and dsl
