    Hi Friends,

I have vostro 3560 running on windows 7 ultimate. My question is regarding peernet application. Can this application be used to share internet from a usb dongle with wifi enabled devices or does is just share wired internet from ethernet adaptor only, with wifi enabled devices? It uses broadcom virtual wifi adaptor which has the icon of wired connection and the name of the adaptor is local area connection which most likely tells me that it only shares wired ethernet connection.

Also, After installing the wifi drivers on my laptop, i noticed that a microsoft virtual wifi miniport adaptor was automatically created under network connections page in control panel. Usually i create this myself on a machine using netsh command to share internet with other devices but, on my laptop, this was automatically created by some driver. I want to know which driver has created this and why? Is it used by some system utility? I wanted to run my own netsh command to create my own microsoft virtual miniport adaptor which will override the default one created by the driver. Will this cause any problem for any application which may be using the automatically created virtual adaptor?

Ok can anybody just help me with dell peernet application. I know it's used for sharing your internet connection with other wifi enabled devices. I have a USB dongle for internet. When i connect my dongle to my laptop and start peer network through peernet application, it just keeps on giving the message "It is taking longer than usual to enable ICS". My lumia 920 sees the peer network but is unable to connect to it.
