    Need help on D-Link N300 DIR 615 review

    There's no answer to this question or rather there are dozens of answers.

    D-Link in its usual fashion managed to sell what is in essence different routers in the same chassis and under the same name.

    DIR-615 was based on at least three different chips Atheros AR9130, Ralink RT3052F and Atheros AR7241.
    There were at least nine hardware revisions and while C1 was pretty similar to C2 it had completely different hardware from letÂ’s say D1 or E2.

    You want to know good is this router- my question is which of the nine different routers are we talking about?
    Even if you manage to find a review you have to know which revision was it and which revision could you buy- because it may be something very different.

    Final advice- if you haven't bought it yet- don't.
