Hello there, I need help regarding my wi-fi (4950AGN) failed to detect my home router. Previously it works just fine until I shut down my laptop for 3 days (vacation) then tried to reboot multiple times, result still the same. I can connect to my router using another laptop but not this one.

Any help on this? Anyway I'm using Sager NP5793 and never experience this problem before. Thank you for answering.

    Regards,
    Spin.

What operating system do you have on your Sager? Is your wifi enabled in the BIOS? Can you connect to any other wireless hotspots (Starbucks, etc)?

From the sounds of it, it seems like your Sager's Wireless Adapter is disabled. You can try enabling it via the Network Connections folder, Device Manager or by flipping a switch on the outside of the notebook/or by pressing the FN key and the Wireless Key [Symbol] on the Keyboard. The final place you would want to check as kego mentioned above is the BIOS to make sure it's enabled there, if all else fails.

I'm using Vista 64, Wi-fi enabled on BIOS. Can't connect to other wireless hotspots.. It simply shows an error "Cannot find any network"

Wi-fi is by default enabled, try toogling the Wireless ON/OFF (FN+F11) but no luck. My cellphone, though, can connect to my router without hiccup. Previously before I left my laptop for 3 days, it still working fine.. Anyone can help?

Does the adapter show up in the device manager?

The adapter shows up in the device manager, and the adapter is working fine. But one thing though, when I run INTEL Pro Wireless on CONTROL PANEL (trying to test the hardware, software, driver, etc etc test) it came out error on hardware, saying that "Driver cannot be used on this adapter"

Should I uninstall the driver and re-install again using my Sager stock driver?

Yes I would do just that. That should fix the issue.

Thank you, re-install stock driver actually works although I need to uninstall both driver (Device Manager) and software..
